Day 2 (Second Day)

6 And God said, “Let there be a vault between the waters to separate water from water.” 7 So God made the vault and separated the water under the vault from the water above it. And it was so. 8 God called the vault “sky.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the second day.

...and they grew like clusters of boils and blisters
under an unforgiving sun.
The men of the field defiled one another
so to quench their earthly hunger,
and they fed the grapes to their children
and taught them to praise the field.

...it took all to fill their eternal hunger

and they left more to the flies than to the field of...

field was fruitful and the the men were content

because they knew the wine delighted Him,

but men mistook a full stomach for a full spirit,

and they soon stopped their labor as a service to Him

and instead took it upon themselves to being subjects to their worldly passions.

They glorified their own needs above His,

and in doing so, they served the The Lord God Almighty

who showed that the men of the fields once brought to him grapes fit to be served at the table of the everlasting, and they strived to please Him, but the world had gone astray once again.

It was commanded to bring forth the fruit of the labor that toiled in its service, and the men who worked in it--for as men we were commanded to  this vineyard, and we saw a vineyard that was created from all of the toil and strife of this world.

It was not a heavenly vineyard, but rather of this world, and it bore the fruit of men who forgot their God and the promises He had offered.  The men spilled anger and lust onto the roots, and the vines matured with bitter grapes that looked like painful clusters of blisters and boils.
